Honda Helix CN250 metal luggage rack
Heavy duty design, Great for use mounting a trunk .
Weight Limit: 15 Lbs
Fits all Honda helix from Year 1985-2008
Contains:
1 metal base plate (
14.5" x 9.5")
2 metal size plates
2 short 12mm bolts
2 long 12mm bolts (Might need to replace for some years of models)
It's direct bolt on, no modification should be required
Instructions:
Remove the 2 side bolts on each side to swing away the lower support bracket
Remove the rear support arm (no longer used with the new rack)
Attach each side support bracket from the kit, making sure to get the orientation correct for the rack which will secure to the brackets(*AFTER you get the supports installed)
Tighten the brackets on both sides.... now we're ready to install the rack with the 4 bolts...
To get the rack bolts threaded will require bending/flexing the
supports temporarily to allow the holes to line up for the bolts...then
tighten and you're done!
