A Merbromin based paint-on disinfectant with PVP emul-
sifier for: wounds, scrapes and abrasions. A scrape
against rocks or a bite on the scales can result in a
serious infection. The simple process of catching the
fish and painting the affected area will often prevent
more serious problems. Should be used after any opera-
tion such as extraction of visible parasites.
DOSE: Shake well before using. Place 1 or 3 drops directly
on the wound. Using a soft artists brush or a cotton swab,
dab the would carefully. Immediately return the fish to the
aquarium water. Treatment may be repeated daily until
the would heals.

is all fish
safe and allows the fish to be treated without adding
chemicals to the aquarium and if used as directed, will
not affect the biological filter bed.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Net the fish. Use the net to hold the
fish in place. Apply WC through the net directly on the area.
Place the fish in a hospital tank if possible. In a calm pro-
tected area the fish heal faster and less fish stress will occur
when catching the fish. Add
SHIELDEX
to the aquarium water
to help relieve fish stress.
